The crowns are made up of several types of material most commonly porcelain, resin, stainless steel & metal {noble or high noble}.
The crown is made in generally 2 appointments.On your first appointment the decay from the tooth removed and the tooth shaped smaller to have room for the permanent crown to be cemented.After the preparation ,the dentist takes a mould of the teeth to send to lab for fabrication.Temporary crown is made on the same day and cemented with temporary cement.On second visit,usually after few weeks the temporary crown removed and permanent crown cemented permanently after you approve and give consent.

A bridge can lose its support if the teeth or bone holding it in place are damaged by dental disease. Keep your gums and teeth healthy by Brushing with fluoride toothpaste twice a day and flossing daily. Also see your dentist regularly for checkups and cleanings.
