• Swollen jaw-which may be due to trauma or infection
• Fracture of tooth following trauma.

What should I expect on the emergency visit?

Dentist takes a radiograph and does a limited exam focusing on the dental emergency and appropriate treatment performed.Sometimes if the emergency needs to be reffered to specialist. Some dental emergency situations can be avoided or prevented if regular cleanings and check up are done periodically,as they help to find the dental problems at an early stage and could be easily treated.
